Street Phantoms, the villain of Computer Vision.
This is an article about how you can trick Computer Vision by using a projector. They show an projected image of something like a person or a stop sign and the car will think they are real. Beside projections there is a special paper that will show one thing to people at a standing height and another thing facing the angle which a car will have a camera for Computer Vision. Rendering the “Phantom Object” visible to cars but invisible to people.
This would be something people who would want to wreak havoc on self driving automobiles would want. The people who want this might have made 270 billion U.S. dollars in 2019. Or their native currency equivalent of 30 trillion Japanese yen. They may or may not have a name that rhymes with a Toy Yoda.
